Ronnie ‘Volcano’ Alcano vs Peach on Philippine Bigtime Billiards Face Off

Filipino cue master Ronato “Volcano” Alcano will face Britain’s Daryl “The Dazzler” Peach in a showdown of masters at the Philippine Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face-Off on Saturday at the PAGCOR Airport Casino in Parañaque City.

“I’m ready for Daryl,” said the 39-year-old Alcano.

Alcano, a former World 9-ball and 8-Ball champion, beat Peach in the 2007 World 8-Ball Championship.

“I am doing well. I have been training for this fight,” said Alcano.

“In a short, winner’s-break match, it’s anybody’s ball game,” said Peach.

The PBB Face-Off is a joint undertaking of Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corp.

The event was organized in cooperation with Airport Casino Filipino, Crown Sound System Sakura Amplifiers, Home Theater Systems, Malungai Life Oil, Diamond Billiard table, Hermes Sports Bar, I-Bar, Golden Leaf Restaurant, and Bugsy Promotions Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP).

As of Friday, Alcano was a -1.5 favorite against Peach (+2.5), according to official Sports Betting Mega Sports World.

This means that a $1 bet on Alcano would win $1.60. A $1 bet on Peach would win $2.10.

The winner will get $5,000 cash in this race-to-9, 10-ball affair.
