Showbiz reporters share views on KC Concepcion – Piolo Pascual break-up

Members of the entertainment press have expressed different opinions on the breakup of showbiz couple KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual.

After Concepcion’s controversial revelation regarding her falling-out with Pascual last Sunday in “The Buzz,” several showbiz reporters who have been following them were caught in shock.

They were left with their own interpretations of the true cause of the breakup because Concepcion refused to get into details.

Entertainment columnist Maridol Bismark finds the supposed closure open-ended, and said that is probably best for them to end it that way.

Bismark said, “Bitin nga, kaya lang, siguro we have to respect na rin ‘yung ‘yon lang ‘yung gusto niyang sabihin. Kasi, baka ‘pag may sinabi pa siya mas maraming masasaktan, baka lalong lumaki ‘yung problema.”

Meanwhile, Pilar Mateo said she couldn’t help but feel sympathy for Concepcion.

She explained, “Siyempre nalungkot ako for KC kasi doon sa mga ipinahayag niya kay Kuya Boy di ba sinabi niyang lahat, kung ano ‘yung ginawa niya para sa relasyon na ito, kung gaano niya kamahal si Piolo. At saka, talagang makikita mo ‘yung sakit.”

Although Pascual has not yet spoken about his side of the story, some members of the press are also feeling his pain.

Ronnie Carrasco explained, “Ako naman, naaawa rin naman ako kay Piolo kasi ano naman ang puwede niyang idepensa. He is in a ‘no win’ situation. The more he talks about it, the more lang lalo siyang madidiin lalo.”

Pascual has refused to comment on Concepcion’s statements about their breakup.

He requested for the public’s understanding on the sensitive situation they are facing.

“I don’t think I’ve anything else to say. KC has already said her piece. Hayaan na lang muna natin doon kasi it’s a very sensitive issue. Hindi naman biro ang pinagdaanan naming dalawa,” Pascual said.

“Ang hinihingi ko na lang ay pag-iintindi sa mga tao. Hindi madali ang proseso. Hindi rin madali yung maraming nakaabang, maraming naghihintay at maraming nakikialam. Ang sa akin, hayaan na lang muna kami, especially si Kristina. It’s not easy.”
